Alex and Laurence spent some operating the Kenwood TS-2000 and had a number of contacts.

Monday 17th September

Denis brought along a military ATU for us to play with.

We connected it up to the club TS2000 and it worked absolutely fine, with us making a contact into Belgium no problems at all.

As usual, tea was had all round, with much banter being had.

Neil took Paul through some of his Intermediate level practical work and was able to sign this off. Another very good evening with plenty of Tea, Coffee and biscuits.

Monday 3rd 2012

Monday turned into a debrief session and a chat about the RSGB SSB Field Day we had just completed at the Hop Farm. Our results are as follows, a total of 337 contacts and 82940 points. Not a winning score but that did not stop us having a great time.  I’m looking forward to next year.

The club Kenwood TS-2000 worked well over the weekend and was back in service Monday night.

Monday 27/08/2012

We were closed last week due to the bank holiday but we are back to normal this week.

Some of us did the RSGB SSB Field Day this week end at the Hop Farm, Paddock Wood, Kent.

Until the log is audited, I’m not sure of our final result but we did much better than last year and had a great time.
