Monday 11th March 2013

Alex operated 2m on the Kenwood TS2000 and was talking to Jim M0UJC

Joe brought along a Kenwood PMR radio, which hopefully can be converted for amateur use once he's passed his intermediate exam.

The other chaps were planning out the installation of the WiFi Internet connection for the scouts.

Finally Callum has now finished his foundation training, and has his exam next Monday night.

Good luck Callum!!

Monday 4th March 2013

Martin had a clear out of his shack, and brought up some his cherished items for some of the other guys to enjoy.

Alex brought along a DVB tuner, which he had operating as an SDR receiver, which worked from 24MHz to 1.7GHz.

Callum has now completed his foundation training and is now just doing his revision before his exam.

Chris and Martin played with running a DVAP on a raspberry pi.

Chris was showing off his new homebrew 4:1 balun, which was copied from one made by Steve.

And the usual tea and banter all around.
