Monday 13th May 2013

Steve brought up his Cobweb antenna, which he built from a plan by G3TXQ. After some tweaking, and testingon an analyser it was resonant on 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m and 10m.

Alex was playing with psk31 and a USB based SDR.

Paul brought along some satellite pictures he received from NOAA using his funcube dongle.

Monday 29th April 2013

Steve and Paul were testing out an MFJ DSP 784B audio filter, which was working very well attached to the club Kenwood ts2000.

Alex was using psk31 and an SDR with his USB dongle.

Some of the guys were planning out the activities for a scouting event next weekend.

and the rest of spent the whole evening drinking tea.

Neil, M0ZEY, was fiddling with his Ten-Tec radio that had a fault on transmit which was restricting the power output, which he managed to fix with some help from Steve G1MPW.

Martin, M1MRB, brought up a USB based TV card which he got working as a software defined radio receiver.

Alex, 2E0FJA, worked 2m simplex on the club Kenwood TS2000.

And the usual cups of tea and chat.

Alex brought up his binary clock, which he built using a ds1307 IC based clock, with an arduino to control the LEDs.

Martin and Neil were reviewing the training material for this weekend's intermediate course.

We all went out to the car park to watch the ISS go over.

All in all, another good Monday night session.
