July already, the weeks seem to be rushing past but we are
still playing. This Monday was no exception which turned into a busy evening.
Denis was playing with his Fun Cube Dongle down one end of
the hall. Chris and John were playing with Johns new Yaesu FT-817. This is a
great first choice radio.
The Boy and Alan were operating the Kenwood TS-2000 with
reasonable success.
Steve and I repaired my Morse code oscillator; I should have
changed the power connector years ago. We then started rewiring a PMR desk mic
to work with the TS-2000. All the button work now but we ran out of time before
we got the audio input to work.
All this as well at tea, coffee and biscuits.
