Another busy night in Banstead at the Scout Hall. Firstly
a number of us had a training meeting to discuss the future training dates for
our next batch of training courses.
Chris, Steve and John were outside fixing Chris’s
generator which is now working fine. The younger members were playing with slow
scan TV as well at operating HF.
Other discussions were taking part in the hall of a radio
nature.
We often use GB3NS late Monday nights as we drive home. KJ4DEM, Ben, from North Carolina called on
Echolink through GB3NS tonight and spoke to Chris (2E0CTH) and Martin (M0SGL).
I had left early this Monday but hopefully I will get the chance to work him
next week.
