The
Scout Hall will be closed on Monday 27th of August 2012 due to the
bank holiday. We will be back to normal on Monday the 3rd of September
2012.
Last Monday we had a meeting to discuss our upcoming weekend
doing SSB Field Day at the Hop Farm in Paddocks Wood, Kent. A kit list has been
drawn up and Darren is talking to the owner about the weekend of the 1st
and 2ns of September.
We also went to watch the International Space Station pass
over at around 21:00 local time.
Some of us had a trip out on Saturday 25/08/2012 to 2O12L
the Olympic special event. Martin (M0SGL) , Steve (G1MPW), Denis (M0NDJ), Neil (M0ZEY),
Connor (2E0ZEY) and me (M1MRB) had a good day and all managed some operating
time.
